DISTRICT SEVEN

District Seven  remains relatively laid back in the grand scheme of things. Of the rural Districts, Seven is the wealthiest, though there's still only one real city. Delonix is home to shops selling wood-related products and a few large lumbermills, but for the most part, people in Seven are happy keeping to themselves in the massive forests. Children in Seven are often educated by their parents, or smaller towns have their own small schoolhouses. Most begin working around the age of fifteen, but there are plenty of exceptions. Generally speaking, the rule in Seven is that the further somebody is from a town, the odder they are. There's definitely a fair bit of fringe groups, some more harmless than others. Peacekeeping is lax compared to other Districts, mainly because towns and Delonix are relatively safe. Because of how spread out the District is, participation in minor government decisions is open to all.
